SAMARIUM POT MAGNETS

The samarium pot magnets, together with those of neodymium, belong to the group of rare earths. Manufactured an alloy of samarium and cobalt, obtaining as a result a powerful magnet similar to those of neodymium. Samarium pots magnets are ideal for fastening in smaller spaces.

We offer a wide range of samarium pot magnets, available in different formats.

ico-titleCHARACTERISTICS

Type of material

Rare Earth

Composition

Samarium (Sm)
Cobalt (Co)

Work temperature

From 0ºC to 350ºC

Advantages

Strong magnets
Stability at high temperatures
High coercivity

Advantage

The samarium pots are magnets formed by the alloy of samarium and cobalt, covered with a metal casing. Their good behavior with oxidation and corrosion, together with the good stability of the magnetic curve, make these magnetic products more attractive.

Its positive coercive values favor its resistance to demagnetization. They are also suitable for different uses thanks to their resistance to high temperatures, 350ºC.

Work temperature

The working temperature for samarium bases is quite adequate for the vast majority of applications, being able to be used from 0ºC to 350ºC, without presenting problems with oxidation.

ico-titleAPPLICATIONS:

The uses of the samarium pots magnets with those of neodymium are very similar. Being a group of pot magnets very used. Factors such as resistance to high temperatures, favor their applications in interiors of engines, heat detectors and others, since magnets with thermal stability are required.
